DESCRIPTION:Where the Water Meets the Sky tells the inspiring 
 story of 23 women from rural Zambia who are traine
 d in filmmaking.  This uplifting documentary follo
 ws the courageous group as they produce a film abo
 ut an issue that no one will discuss: the plight o
 f young women orphaned by AIDS.\n\nThe film featur
 es Penelope\, a young woman who shares her story o
 n camera and who has since received the Goldman Sa
 chs-Fortune Global Women Leaders award\, which rec
 ognises women who are making great strides in impr
 oving their community.  Penelope is a magnificent 
 example to every community\, in every country of w
 hat an educated young woman of courage can achieve
 .\n\nThe 60-minute film is a story of friendship\,
  courage and hope that resonates with young people
  internationally.  Among the 23 young women who we
 re trained in filmmaking\, many were non-literate 
 - demonstrating the power of film for addressing c
 omplex and contentious issues.
