DESCRIPTION:I will discuss our recent experiments\, theory and simulations
 \, with R Kant\, R K Gupta\, H Soni and A K Sood (see arXiv:2403.18329) on
  a vibrated monolayer of millimetric grains. After an introduction to this
  simple realisation of active matter\, my talk will present results on con
 densation of non-motile particles through the agency of a tiny population 
 of orientable motile grains. I will offer an understanding of these anti-d
 iffusive phenomena through a theory with a naturally non-reciprocal Cahn-H
 illiard structure.
