 $M$\, i.e.&nbsp\;the&nbsp\; linear span of the Dirac measures\,&nbsp\; als
 o known as&nbsp\; Transportation Cost Space\, or&nbsp\;Wasserstein 1 space
  on $M$. In this talk we discuss lower and upper bounds&nbsp\; for&nbsp\;t
 he distortion of embeddings of $F(M)$ into $L_1$-spaces.
