DESCRIPTION:In recent years\, the analysis of what happens on
 a playing field during a soccer match has aroused
 the interest of researchers working in the area of
  complex systems. An approach to the study of th
 is system that has been particularly successful is
  the one that uses complex networks to understand
 different aspects of the interactions between play
 ers and the emergence of collective behaviors. In
 this talk we will present an example of how differ
 ent defense strategies can be studied through cont
 act networks. To do this\, we will analyze data fr
 om several meetings and complement this analysis w
 ith the proposal of a simple model that allows us
 to reproduce the results found.\n&nbsp\;
