DESCRIPTION:In recent years\, companies have recognised the undervaluation
of neurodiverse and autistic people. HSBC’s first Neurodiversity Ambass
ador\, Jonathan Scott-Lee\, led the vanguard to target the hiring of neuro
diverse talent beyond mere repetitive and operational tasks\, towards seni
or leadership roles. Jonathan has both ADHD and Autism\, yet led HSBC’s
Asia Pacific Cybersecurity division as its Chief Information Security Offi
cer.\n\nIt was with irony and sadness that his eldest daughter\, Caitlyn (
who was also autistic) died by suicide in April this year. Following Caitl
yn’s death\, Jonathan is now on sabbatical from HSBC and is now supporti
ng the Autism Centre of Excellence and Autism Research Centre as a Visitin
 g Research Fellow.\n\nhttps://www.hsbc.com/news-and-views/views/hsbc-views
