DESCRIPTION:I present an overview of our attempts to model the recently-di
 scovered phenomenon of electroreception\, which is the ability of some art
 hropods (e.g.\, bees) to detect electric fields in the environment. We inv
 estigate how arthropods detect electric fields and explore ways they might
