DESCRIPTION:In recent years\, composite materials have been more widely ut
 ilised in a variety of applications\, such as the aerospace industry\, due
  to their excellent strength to weight ratio and the ability to customise 
 their properties according to purpose. As a result\, more research is requ
 ired to better understand these materials as well as the adhesive joints b
 etween them. The Composites\, Adhesives and Soft Solids (CASS) group at Im
 perial researches a number of areas\, including but not limited to impact\
 , sandwich structures\, adhesive bonding and repair of composites.
