 er College\, Madingley Road\, Cambridge.\n\nOn 7th
  March at 1pm Dr Lydia Jaeger will give a seminar 
 entitled ‘Why Theology Needs Science – and Why Sci
 ence Needs Theology’\n\nLunch will be provided fro
 m 12:30 in the Healey Room\, Westminster College\,
  Cambridge.\n\nAbstract\nIn contrast to common pra
 ctice\, which separates science and theology\, thi
 s talk maps out possible fruitful interactions bet
 ween science and theology. In particular\, it asks
  how theologians and faith communities (in particu
 lar the Christian churches) can benefit from scien
 ce – and what scientists can learn from theology f
 or their professional work. Such an integrated vie
 w enables believers to adopt a positive stance tow
 ards scientific progress. Against the mainstream\,
  I will also argue that there is room to conscious
 ly take advantage of theological resources in scie
 ntific practice. Although this seminar mainly uses
  creation as the lens through which to address the
 se questions\, it also hints at contributions whic
