DESCRIPTION:I develop wearable\, non-invasive optical brain mo
nitoring tools based on near-infrared spectroscopy
(NIRS) to measure brain oxygenation and metabolis
m in places where conventional brain imaging isn’t
possible. In this talk\, I will present some of t
he applications of this technique\, focussing on n
eonatal seizures and canine neuroscience\, coverin
g the engineering challenges and future directions
of wearable brain imaging in naturalistic environ
 ments.\n
