DESCRIPTION:Solution structure preserving discretizations of integrable sy
 stems\, i.e.\, integrable discretizations\, have been actively studied in 
 recent years.&nbsp\;\nWe have obtained self-adaptive moving mesh schemes o
 f several soliton equations involving hodograph transformations such that 
 the Camassa-Holm equation&nbsp\;&nbsp\;and the short pulse equation in whi
 ch mesh intervals are automatically adjusted.&nbsp\;I will talk about the 
 construction of self-adaptive moving lattice schemes for the short pulse t
 ype equations under general boundary conditions and its application to num
 erical computations\, as well as integrable discretizations of the SIR mod
 el.
