DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we revisit the calculation of exponentially sma
 ll terms in the asymptotic expansion of tronqu&eacute\;e and tritronqu&eac
 ute\;e solutions of the Painlev&eacute\; I equation. Employing the isomono
 dromy approach\, as proposed by Kapaev\, we show how perturbative and non-
 perturbative asymptotic expansions can be obtained using local parametrice
 s in terms of classical special functions.
