DESCRIPTION:I will talk about work in progress with T. Bouganis about cert
 ain congruences between Katz p-adic L-functions. These congruences come fr
 om non-commutative Iwasawa theory for CM fields. We will see a proof of th
 ese congruences under certain hypothesis and then I will indicate obstruct
 ions for proving the congruences in general.
