DESCRIPTION:We will discuss birationality and strong A^1-invariance of the
 sheaf of A^1-connected components of algebraic groups.&nbsp\; As an applic
 ation\,we show that G-torsors give rise to A^1-fiber sequences for any red
 uctivealgebraic group G over a perfect field.&nbsp\; The talk is based on 
 joint work withChetan Balwe and Amit Hogadi.
