DESCRIPTION:It is a well-known fact that innovation is a fundamental drive
r of economic growth. Roughly 85% of all growth that happened in the US ec
onomy between 1870 and 1950 can be accounted to productivity growth via in
novation\, and this isn't just an individual anomaly. We have Rwanda a nat
ion closer to our hearts\, despite its size and population\, the country i
s presently leading the continent in the adoption and development of a few
interesting technologies. From developing robust telecom infrastructures
to adopting drone technology\, Rwanda is at the forefront of technological
advancement in Africa. \n\nThe discussion for us is to examine closely at
a micro level the role and impact of businesses and individuals\, includi
ng indigenous people in the evolving innovation landscape. It is critical
that we also explore the shift towards home-grown solutions that support l
 ocal and\nglobal technological progress.
