 ector of Conciliation Resources\, a post he took up in 2016. Over the past
  25 years at Conciliation Resources\, initially as Caucasus Director and t
 hen as Director of Programmes\, Jonathan has supported dialogue and peaceb
 uilding initiatives in contexts including the South Caucasus\, Kashmir\, t
 he Philippines\, Colombia\, Ethiopia and Nigeria. Previously he served as 
 Deputy Director of the Foundation on Inter-Ethnic Relations in The Hague w
 orking with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities. In 2018 Jon
 athan became Chair of the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO). Jo
 nathan is an Associate of the Institute for the Public Understanding of Wa
 r and Conflict at the Imperial War Museum and a member of the Advisory Boa
 rd of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at the University o
 f London. In 2007 he was awarded an OBE by the British Government for serv
 ices to conflict prevention and conflict resolution in the Caucasus.\n\nTh
 e *CGHR Practitioner Series* seeks to allow students to listen and speak t
 o a selection of high-level experts working in these fields\, and address 
 key issues and questions. The seminars which take place during the Lent te
 rm\, are designed to equip students with an in-depth and critical look at 
 what each area involves\; the type of work carried out\, contingent challe
 nges and essential competencies. The first part of the session will introd
 uce the speaker\, chaired by a discussant from CGHR\, and will open up to 
 the audience in the second portion of the evening to provide the opportuni
 ty for students to engage with the topics discussed.
