 s talk\, I want to discuss some questions that can be posed withoutany mac
 hinery beyond the basic definitions of mutation and clusteralgebras.&nbsp\
 ; The questions are loosely organized around the notion of"changing the ex
 change matrix".&nbsp\; I will present some results on whatis known\, but m
 ostly I want to stimulate thought about the questionsusing representation 
 theory\, or more generally\, using tools other thanthe ones I know.
