DESCRIPTION:The most important properties in conjugated polymers are heavi
 ly dictated by their solid state interactions. In the solid state\, conjug
 ated polymers almost always undergo significant photoluminescence quenchin
 g which makes their use in OLED\, OLET and OPV applications problematic. H
 ere we will show how we can control the solid state packing of conjugated 
 polymers through synthesis and how this can lead to new and improved optic
