DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to welcome two former PhD students 
 from the Department of Plant Sciences\, Drs Meliss
 a Barrett and Nick Betson\, as well as my niece\, 
 Leila\, who are employed in very different areas o
 f the environmental consultancy industry. Nick wor
 ks for RPM\, and Leila\, Mott-MacDonald\, and both
  are heavily into newts\, toads and badgers in a p
 ractical conservation sense. Melissa\, who also no
 w works with a former Part II Zoologist who she re
 cruited after this exercise two years ago\, is eng
 aged in climate change issues and more strategic a
 pplications for industry with Arthur D. Little. Th
 ey will explain their current roles\, we can discu
 ss points of entry into the industry (straight fro
 m degree\, Masters of PhD)\, and you can quiz them
  over their current varied activities.  Please fee
