DESCRIPTION:Important cohomology theories are associated to on
e dimensional Group Schemes. Ordinary cohomology i
s associated to the additive group\, while K-Theor
y is associated to the multiplicative group. Follo
wing this correspondence it's therefore natural to
consider cohomology theories associated to ellipt
ic curves and try to construct equivariant version
s of them. One of the first applications of the al
gebraic models for rational S1-spectra introduced
by Greenlees was the construction of an algebraic
model for rational S1-equivariant elliptic cohomol
ogy. After a breezy introduction to rational G-spe
ctra and the algebraic models for them we will con
struct this model discussing which aspects of the
theory are reflected in the geometry of the ellipt
ic curve.
