  Cambridge research relevant to the processes and contexts of ageing.\n\nA
 bout this Event\n\nPublic Health@Cambridge Network and Hughes Hall are del
 ighted to invite you to a one day interdisciplinary conference\, “Ageing
 : perspectives from cell to society”.\n\nDate: Tuesday 25th February 202
 0\n\nTime: 9:30 to 17:30\n\nLocation: Pavilion Room at Hughes Hall\n\nThe 
 aim of the conference is to investigate how we can enhance individual well
 -being by safeguarding health\, increasing resilience and promoting commun
 ity and wider involvement by activities throughout the life course and\, i
 n so doing promote benefits for society as a whole.\n\nThe morning session
  will showcase current research at Cambridge and the application of ageing
  research in the context of real-world challenges. Delegates will hear fro
 m a range of key-note speakers including Professor Carol Brayne\, Professo
 r Nabeel Affara\, Professor Andrew Flewitt\, Professor Kay-Tee Khaw\, Prof
 essor Peter Landshoff\, Dr Pat Langdon\, Dr Victoria Keevil\, Alison Hall 
 and Dr Louise Lafortune.\n\nIn the afternoon session we will have strategi
 c discussions to aim to identify Cambridge’s potential to address pressi
 ng issues through research\, capacity building\, and increasing the profil
 e and influence of our researchers.\n\nThe event will deliver three clear 
 goals:\n\n• Better understanding and appreciation of the breadth of work
  on ageing across the Cambridge ecosystem\, enabling improved sharing of i
 deas and knowledge and the fostering of new relationships\, collaborative 
 activities and partnerships\n\n• Highlighting the most pressing issues\n
 \n• Reflecting on how researchers in Cambridge can have an impact by dev
 eloping plans to support their wider world influence and engagement.\n\nIf
