DESCRIPTION:The Cambridge Bahá'í community has organised a series of tal
ks and discussions on several core principles and teachings of the Bahá'
í Faith\, entitled "Principles for a Better World".\n\nTalks will take pl
ace on Wednesdays from 8-9:30pm from mid-January to mid-April on the 1st a
nd 3rd Wednesday of each month. All talks are free and open to all\, and l
ight refreshments will be served.\n\nThe first talk is titled * "Universal
peace: Unachievable or inevitable?" *.\n\nThe immense challenges facing h
umanity at present make the achievement of peace throughout the world seem
like a vague ideal or an unrealistic goal. However\, according to the tea
chings of the Bahá'í Faith\, universal peace is the next stage in a sing
le unfolding evolutionary process as humanity progresses along the path to
maturity. In this talk we will discuss how the achievement of universal p
eace is not only possible\, but inevitable.\n\n_ "The well-being of mankin
d\, its peace and security\, are unattainable unless and until its unity i
 s firmly established." _
