DESCRIPTION:Matrix.org is an open source project and non-profi
 t foundation which publishes an open standard for 
 decentralised communication - letting anyone host 
 their own end-to-end encrypted chatrooms while par
 ticipating in an open global network.  The goal is
  to return control over communication to the gener
 al population - liberating it from WhatsApp\, Slac
 k\, Google and friends.  Some of the ideas for Mat
 rix originally came out of a Part IB project\, and
  in this talk we'll give an introduction to the pr
 otocol\, its history\, its clients & servers\, and
  where it's going next!
