DESCRIPTION:Electronics have become even smaller year-by-year
at an incredible speed and have recently become hi
ghly mechanically flexible. However\, sensors and
transducers apparently haven't kept up to date. In
this talk\, I will introduce the work on miniatur
isation of ultrasonic transducers and their mechan
ically flexible version\, which can be wearable on
cloth or skin and even implantable and will envis
ion potential applications in health care (e.g. in
tra-body communication\, mobile monitoring) and ot
her interesting areas (e.g. group interaction anal
 ysis) will also be discussed.``
