DESCRIPTION:Two constructions input a surface S (with some ext
ra data) and output an associative algebra whose e
lements are represented by Legendrian curves: 1) t
he Legendrian skein algebra of S x R\, defined by
imposing linear relations between curves which dif
fer locally 2) the Hall algebra of the Fukaya cate
gory of S. We construct a homomorphism from 1) to
2) which in examples is as close to isomorphism as
it can be. The proof requires a precise understan
ding of the relation between formal deformations (
Maurer-Cartan elements) and geometric deformations
(surgery) for immersed curves. [See arxiv:1908.10
