 : The world of high impact publishing can be opaque\, frustrating \nand so
 metimes even daunting\, and that's just for the editors. In this \ntalk\, 
 Lewis will speak about leaving research for a career in publishing \nand t
 he rewards and challenges it presents\, provide some insight into \nthe in
 ner workings at Nature Research\, shine a light on the black box of \nedit
 orial (with some helpful hints and tips)\, and talk about life after \nNat
 ure and the inspiration behind and aspirations for his new project\, \nOne
  Earth.\n\nBio: Lewis Collins\, a palaeoclimatologist by training\, is the
  founding \nEditor-in-Chief of One Earth\, a new high impact journal from 
 the \npublisher Cell Press that seeks to unite the natural\, social and ap
 plied \nresearch communities in our joint efforts to drive environmental c
 hange \nand sustainability science forward. Prior to joining Cell Press\, 
 Lewis \nspent over 5 years with Nature Research\, where he led the Nature 
 \nCommunications Earth editorial team and handled and curated original \nr
 esearch\, reviews\, and opinion pieces from across the full spectrum of \n
