DESCRIPTION:This seminar will provide an overview of the perovskite photov
oltaics research activities at the Australian National University. The ANU
perovskite PV group was established in 2014 with the long term goal to de
velop perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells with efficiencies above 30%. T
his presentation will review our progress toward this goal\, including the
  demonstration of a (then record) 26.4% 4-terminal tandem cell in 2017\, a
nd more recent 2-terminal tandem cell results. I will also discuss example
s of more fundamental studies related to defect passivation and ionic drif
t-diffusion modelling that provide insights into the complex dynamics of p
 erovskite solar cells.
