DESCRIPTION:Throughout the domain of Computer Science we strug
gle with the trade off of encapsulation vs converg
ence. Encapsulation splits a solution into sub-com
ponents and hides the implementation of each. Conv
ergence merges separate sub-components so that the
y may work better together.\n\nIn this talk I expl
ore how this trade off has created two divergent d
esigns of infrastructure: the encapsulated ‘tradit
ional’ method against the newcomer on the block\,
 ‘hyper-converged’.
