DESCRIPTION:Since 2004\, two instruments for near and mid infrared long-ba
seline\ninterferometry have been offered to the astronomical community in
service\nand visitor mode by ESO at its Very Large Telescope Interferomete
r on Cerro\nParanal\, Chile. With AMBER and MIDI\, high spatial as well as
spectral\nresolution allow the study of young stellar objects\, evolved s
 tars\, stellar\ndisks\, binaries\, novae\, and even AGN dust tori. I will
highlight recent\nscience with VLTI\, and discuss its current capabilities
for your scientific\nprojects in the context of astronomical interferomet
 ry worldwide.
