DESCRIPTION:This session will summarise the motivation\, start-up and oper
 ation of the ‘STIM’ subscription-based consortium programme\, now in i
 t’s 6th year. STIM was set up to bring industrial participants and acade
 mics together around a set of research projects\, and to facilitate compan
 y networking and sharing of practice\, in an annual rolling format. Discus
 sion will focus on operational aspects\, in terms of the practical aspects
  of setting up and maintaining such programmes\, including contractual and
  financial aspects.
