DESCRIPTION:Random constraint satisfaction problems encode many interestin
g questions in the study of random graphs such as the chromatic and indepe
ndence numbers. Ideas from statistical physics provide a detailed descript
ion of phase transitions and properties of these models. We will discuss t
he one step replica symmetry breaking transition that many such models und
ergo and the Satisfiability Threshold for the random K-SAT model.

<
