DESCRIPTION:The Foulkes characters for the symmetric group will be constru
 cted geometrically and generalized to a large\nfamily of reflection groups
 . Classic (type A) results due to Foulkes\, Kerber-Thürlings\, Diaconis-F
 ulman\,\nand Isaacs will be elucidated and extended to other types. A new 
 property in type B will be presented. New geometric and enumerative result
 s will be presented. Some other new results will be presented if there is 
 time.
