Among the social sciences, economists and economic ideas occupy unrivaled prominence in political discussions. But economists also frequently feel that their ideas and forecasts go unheeded. In this session we will hear from two economists involved in the dissemination of economic ideas and numbers. They will talk about their experiences, successes, the obstacles they face, and the kinds of relationships they form with policy makers.

This talk is part of the The Politics of Economics series.
