Abstract
Professor Colin Blakemore, Chief Executive of the Medical Research Council, is conducting a series of regional MRC ‘Roadshows’. The MRC is interested in feedback from researchers on MRC funding schemes; and Professor Blakemore will also discuss the outcome of Sir David Cooksey’s review of UK health research funding. This Roadshow will be held at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, hosted by Professor Patrick Sissons, Regius Professor of Physic, with Professor John Turner, Head of the School of Biological Sciences, and Ian Harvey of the Faculty of Health, at the University of East Anglia.
