International Women’s Day Lecture: A Question of Honour Hosted by the Vice-Chancellor in celebration of International Women’s Day 2017 theme ‘#BeBoldForChange’, Jasvinder Sanghera CBE joins Dr Matthew Maycock and Norah Al-Ani from CRCC to talk about acting in the name of honour, with life-changing consequences. Jasvinder is a highly acclaimed international speaker, expert advisor and advocate for men and women experiencing forced marriages and honour based abuse. Norah will represent the work of Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre, a confidential and non-judgemental service run by women for women. Matthew’s research focuses on gender issues, with masculinities being a particular focus. A drinks reception will follow.
