If you have a question about this talk, please contact Godazgar. In this talk I will present a general correspondence which associates a non-perturbative quantum mechanical operator to a toric Calabi-Yau manifold and I will propose a conjectural expression for its spectral determinant. As a consequence of these results, I will derive an exact quantization condition for the spectrum of this operator. This approach also provides a Fermi gas picture of topological strings, which is non-perturbative and background independent. This talk is part of the Quantum Fields and Strings Seminars series.
