Metail (http://metail.com/) is a Cambridge based startup that is developing a virtual fitting room for online fashion retailers. Dr Yu Chen will talk about some of the key the technologies that Metail uses to deliver custom representations to their end users: i.e. statistical body shape modelling, automatic garment digitization process, garment draping simulation and deformation modelling, etc.

Dr. Yu Chen is currently the leading research scientist in Metail. He undertook his PhD in the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, with specialization in computer vision and machine learning.
