The PdOC Society is pleased to announce the next PdOC Interdisciplinary Lecture and drinks reception at Corpus Christi College on Tuesday 2 December. We are delighted that Professor Robert Foley, Leverhulme Professor of Human Evolutionary Studies will give the next ‘Crossing the Barriers’ lecture entitled ‘Human evolution – a multi-disciplinary challenge’.

The lecture will start at 6pm in the McCrum Lecture theatre, Corpus Christi College, followed by a drinks reception in the Old and New Combination Rooms.

The Crossing the Barriers lecture series aims to promote University of Cambridge postdoc research visibility by offering an environment to exchange ideas, concepts and views across different fields of research, as well as offer postdocs an experience of college life and an opportunity to meet and network.

The lecture is open to all. Tickets cost £6 for the lecture and drinks reception. Tickets must be pre-booked. Further details and how to book available at http://www.pdoc.cam.ac.uk/events/crossingthebarriers2Dec2014
