Is there a place for Islam in society at large? Is Islam something that should be contained in people’s private lives? Is Islam compatible with the 21st century? Idris Tawfiq will be engaging with these questions many more, as he discusses Islam in the Public Sphere. Idris Tawfiq has a degree in English language and Literature from the University of Manchester and a degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. Before embracing Islam, Idris was a Roman Catholic priest.

This talk is open to all and refreshments will be provided.
