The presentation will examine the recent improvements in rheology, compaction and pore structure which can lead to 30% less reinforcement, less cement, reduced concrete cover while delivering the asset owners maintenance-free, sustainable structures. Concrete mix designs and recent case studies will be discussed.
Operational Quality Control at site as a critical element of construction will be shown as a means of achieving sustainability.
