Abstract
In this talk I will consider a number of factors identified on the basis of cognitive psychology and neuroimaging evidence to mediate the accuracy and reliability of long-term memory. I will discuss how this evidence can be capitalised on to generate effective learning and revision strategies that can help students maximise their exam performance and, indeed, all of us to get the most out of our memories.
