If you have a question about this talk, please contact Julia Hawkins. The Cambridge Science Festival is the UK’s largest free science festival, with hundreds of events centred around two weekends in March. Last year the Festival attracted over 35,000 visitors, mostly families and children. This year both DAMTP and DPMMS are taking part with a Maths Public Open Day on Saturday 26th March, 12 noon – 4pm. We’re looking for students to get involved in creating activities and displays or volunteering on the day. Last run 2 years ago, the Maths Public Open Day is a great opportunity to engage with the public and develop useful transferable skills, and enormous fun to take part in. Find out how to get involved at an information session on Wednesday 23rd February at 3pm in MR5 . This talk is part of the DAMTP info aggregator series.
