OOEW12 - Physics and automorphic L-functions: gravity, conformal field theory and number theory

We will give a survey-style talk on techniques for estimating automorphic L-functions, emphasizing the geometric and microlocal aspects (variation of vectors, connections to quantization), with the aim of making it accessible to the physics side of the audience.
