GST - Geometric spectral theory and applications We consider some implications of the two-term Weyl asymptotic formula for the Laplacian, and its connection to the Euclidean geometric isoperimetric inequality. We derive what might be seen as proof-of-concept results which we then illustrate with several quantitative (and mostly sharp) results.
