Abstract
In this talk I present how systems based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and tool usage can automate theoretical physics research. This discussion includes how each aspect of the workflow in theoretical physics problems can be addressed by such systems: summarizing and understanding existing results, reviewing and improving text and calculations, analyzing results, project planning, and finding new ideas. Time permitting, I give a brief tutorial on how to implement such systems.
