Outline: • UK Biobank’s cardiovascular magnetic resonance study: rationale, challenges, opportunities. • Approach to cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) at scale. • Approach to redefine CMR reference ranges. • Estimation of biological heart age using CMR . • Insights into cardiovascular health, disease and risk prediction using CMR • Research exemplar of multi-organ imaging in a population study.
