In this talk, I’ll share my journey from a PhD in physics to founding a startup. I aim to show that entrepreneurship is a viable and rewarding career path for physicists — and that you don’t need an MBA , a business-expert partner, or investors to get started. I’ll outline some basic principles for building a startup from scratch. Since I don’t have strong priors on what will resonate most, I plan to leave about 50% of the time for questions and discussion.
