If you have a question about this talk, please contact akk50. Abstract: We are all aware that climate played a huge role in shaping past evolutionary and cultural processes. In this talk, we will see how the recent development of continuous palaeoclimatic reconstructions covering hundreds of thousands of years paved the way to new and exciting possibilities in the paleobiology of both animals and humans. Unfortunately, these data can be challenging to extract and analyse for scholars unfamiliar with specific climatic file formats. I will then present a new tool I developed that facilitates the access and use of paleoclimate in any analysis requiring it. This talk is part of the PalMeso Seminar Series series.
