HY2W02 - Analysis of dispersive systems

I will discuss the rigorous asymptotic analysis of the interaction of solitons with some introductory examples, followed by some more substantial examples, and ending with a discussion of some open directions for analytical research.  The research presented is in collaboration with Manuela Girotti, Tamara Grava, Robert Jenkins, and Alexander Minakov.
