Gestational diabetes is the most common medical complication of pregnancy and is increasing in incidence worldwide. In this seminar we will cover the following topics:

1) Aetiology and risk factors for gestational diabetes 2) Diagnosis and clinical management 3) Dietary aspects to gestational diabetes 4) Interventions focusing on diet and physical activity.
