Applications of physical science to biological systems: droplets and fragments
- đ¤ Speaker: Professor Chris Abell, Department of Chemistry
- đ Date & Time: Wednesday 01 October 2008, 15:30 - 16:00
- đ Venue: MR2, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Wilberforce Road, Cambridge
Abstract
The talk will briefly introduce research in two areas: (i) the development of microdroplets in microfluidics as reactors for biology, (ii) the application of fragment-based methods to develop enzyme inhibitors. This latter project is part of the Cambridge Molecular Therapeutics Programme
Series This talk is part of the Horizon: Bioengineering series.
